How we handle data across the Delve platform.
What we collect
The Delve marketing website (this site) does not use cookies or collect personal data. We may use basic, anonymised analytics to understand page views.
Delve instances
Each Delve instance (e.g. bromley.delve.app) is operated on behalf of the host organisation. These instances may use anonymised analytics provided by Google Analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected from visitors. Search queries are logged in aggregate to help the host organisation understand what their users are looking for.
Catalogue data
Delve ingests catalogue data that is already publicly available through the host organisation's existing catalogue system. Each organisation's data is stored in an isolated database and is not shared between tenants.
AI processing
Delve uses OpenAI's API to power search and the "Ask the Archive" feature. Search queries and catalogue data are sent to OpenAI for processing. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to this processing. We do not use visitor queries to train AI models.
